Rose Addington
Rose was diagnosed with breast
cancer in 2003. She underwent surgery, radiation
and chemotherapy. In June 2007, the cancer showed up in her brain
in the form of a tumor that has affected her eye. In December
2007, she went through a round of "targeted" brain radiation, zapping
only the tumor, and responded well to treatment. In January 2008,
a
PETScan showed 6 spots of cancer in her thoracic spine, armpit &
hip bone. She underwent aggressive chemotherapy in
February 2008. In
June of 2009, a MRI revealed more lesions on her pituitary, lung,
adrenal gland and hip. She is currently taking a series of
"chemo pills". Throughout her battle, Rose's faith and trust in
God has
remained steadfast and has been a continuous encouragement and
faith
builder to all who know and love her.
Rose has an incredible journal where she share's her story, as well as some
beautiful insights on the Christian life. For more information, please visit the
